FEBRUARY 17TH – STEVE MCKAY
Some of you Junction locals might recognize Steven, as he headlined this past year’s Junction Music Festival with Toronto band Bruce Peninsula.
“Steven McKay is a singer/songwriter from Hamilton, ON. A fairly new addition to the Toronto scene, he is a founding member of Toronto art-gospel collective, Bruce Peninsula, and has collaborated with many other Toronto-based artists including Timber Timbre, Tusks, Germans, and many more.” – 
MARCH 17TH – MATT NEWTON
We welcome back incredible jazz pianist Matt Newton for his second perforamance at Opticianado.
“Matt Newton is a Toronto based pianist, composer and educator. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto Jazz Program (2004) and has attended the Banff International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music (2006) where he studied with world renowned trumpeter/composer Dave Douglas, and Miles Davis’s last pianist, Deron Johnson.” – www.mattnewton.ca
